Anne Hathaway put an edgy spin on suiting while attending a New York screening of “The Idea of You” on Sunday. The actress’ latest film, available to stream on Prime Video starting May 2, is based on Robinne Lee’s 2017 novel.
Hathaway opted for a full leather look consisting of a blazer, waistcoat and skinny trousers. Underneath, she wore a crisp white button-up and a black tie, completing her look with embellished pumps.

Stylist Erin Walsh, who also counts Selena Gomez and Alison Brie as clients, dressed Hathaway for the occasion.
The actress wore her brunette tresses with full fringe, while her makeup consisted of rosy blush and mauve lipstick.
Hathaway attended the screening alongside Gabrielle Union, who serves as one of the film’s producers.

Last month, Hathaway attended the premiere of “The Idea of You” at SXSW in Austin. On the red carpet, she opted for a sparkling minidress from Patou‘s spring 2024 collection. Her plunging frock was adorned with crystals and embellished with a chevron pattern. The actress accessorized with diamond bangles and metallic open-toe platforms and a matching handbag.
“The Idea of You” follows single mother Solène Marchand (Hathaway) as she strikes up a romance with the frontman of a famous boy band, Hayes Campbell. Costarring Nicholas Galitzine of “Bottoms” and “Red, White & Royal Blue,” the romantic comedy is directed by “Wet Hot American Summer” helmer Michael Showalter.
