Celine Dion Goes Minimalist in All-white Gucci Ensemble for NHL Draft 2024

Celine Dion made a surprise appearance at the NHL Draft on Friday in Las Vegas. The superstar songstress announced the first pick for her hometown’s team, the Montreal Canadians.

For the occasion, Dion selected a minimalist Gucci look consisting of a short-sleeve button-up and a monogrammed belted midi skirt. She completed her outfit with a pendant necklace and peep-toe pumps.

Dion wore her dirty blond tresses in a wavy middle part, while her makeup consisted of rosy blush and a shimmery pale pink lip.

Russian hockey player Ivan Demidov was named as the Montreal Canadians’ first draft pick of the season, with Dion posing alongside him following the announcement.

The singer also sported an all-white ensemble at the premiere of her new Prime Video documentary, “I Am: Celine Dion,” in New York last month. The pop icon opted for an ivory silk blouse with a bow-tie neckline by Dior, pairing it with a matching flared maxiskirt.

At the screening, Dion received a standing ovation.

“Thank you to all of you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of my journey. This movie is my love letter to each of you,” the singer said in a speech. “I hope to see you all again very, very soon.”

“I Am: Celine Dion,” out now, follows Dion’s diagnosis with stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that causes muscular rigidity, inhibiting the ability to walk and sing. The film is helmed by Oscar-nominated director Irene Taylor.
