Chiara Boni built her success on flattering shapes crafted from a sustainable jersey fabric that facilitates the body’s movements with no constrictions.
For spring 2024, she made a comeback to the Milan schedule, imbuing an exotic inspiration into this formula, which translated into a series of floral prints on uncomplicated silhouettes and dresses stretching over the body, as well as a zebra pattern on airy separates.
Still, Boni’s color-blocked and monochrome gowns stole the show, with their timeless look hinged on draping or ruched details outlining sophisticated cutouts.
Zingy coral, lime and tangerine colors as well as sequined textures amplified the vibrant appeal of the collection, which leaned on comfortable evening attire and special pieces for big nights out.
This included Toni Garrn’s blue strapless column gown, the simplicity of which was elevated with puffed taffeta sleeves in matching tones for a high-drama effect.
