Hailey Bieber brought the burgundy trend to the Los Angeles opening of the Guest in Residence store on Saturday. She attended in support of her close friend, supermodel Gigi Hadid, who founded the knitwear brand in 2022.
Bieber selected a velvet skirt suit from Yves Saint Laurent‘s fall 2002 collection, designed by the label’s former creative director, Tom Ford. The Rhode founder added on a black sweater, which she draped around her shoulders, as well as a Prada bucket bag, sheer tights, diamond studs and sharp pumps.
Stylist Dani Michelle, who also counts Kendall Jenner and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as clients, dressed Bieber for the occasion.
The face of Saint Laurent’s summer 2024 campaign wore her brunette tresses in a half-updo tied with a bow, while her makeup consisted of shimmery eyeshadow, rosy blush and a mauve lip.
Bieber’s Rhode recently debuted its latest limited edition Peptide Lip Treatment, co-created with Swedish influencer Matilda Djerf. The peppermint-flavored balm, dropped just in time for the holidays, is already sold out.
Djerf is known for her eponymous clothing and home brand, Djerf Avenue, which produces viral staples including blazers, robes and pajama sets.
This fall, Bieber spoke to WWD about the expansion of her beauty and skincare company following its U.K. launch in 2023. Over the summer, Rhode’s London daylong photo booth attracted hourlong queues, while its expanded October pop-up on Motcomb Street lasted for nearly a week.
“Our community in London is super, super strong. We wanted to really bring an experience there and it just felt like the next natural progression. London embraced Rhode in a big way [when we launched in the U.K.] and I wanted to circle back to that,” Bieber said in her first interview since giving birth in August.
