A few days away from the Met Gala, fashionistas and celebrities are already taking over the streets of New York City. On Wednesday, Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner attended a dinner in Union Square, wearing luxury pieces from Gucci and The Row.
Styled by Dani Michelle, Bieber wore a little blue dress from Gucci‘s spring 1998 collection designed by Tom Ford. The satin dress debuted on the runway in a black shade, but was later seen on red carpets in the same icy blue color worn by Bieber.

The Tom Ford-designed dress was worn by Vogue’s Anna Wintour in 1998, and the same blue fabric was also used to create Helen Hunt’s Oscar dress that year.

While Bieber opted for vintage fashion, Jenner took a modern approach to dressing. The model wore the Jilly jacket from The Row, which is made of lambskin leather and features an oversize silhouette with a detachable hood and drawstring hem.
Jenner continued the baggy theme of her look with wide-leg white pants and finished her outfit with classic black pumps.

The longtime friends also shared their likes for one accessory trend: tiny sunglasses. Jenner wore a frame by Stockholm-based eyewear brand Chimi, while Bieber sported a similar pair of dark rectangular sunglasses.
In February, Bieber and Jenner were seen together in New York City wearing winter-approved looks. The wife of Justin Bieber wore a pinstriped set, while Jenner opted for an avant-garde silhouette in a white fur peplum jacket with oversize shoulders and a wide lapel, designed by Phoebe Philo.
