As noted here on C&L, the House of Representatives finally (!!) approved a $95 billion package of foreign aid bills that would provide funding for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, among other priorities, and that made the Chaos Crew cry some sad tears—specifically, controversial Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who spoke with CNN’s Manu Raju.
Democratic Congressional members appeared to taunt the far right on the floor by waving Ukrainian flags after the House passed a bill to provide aid to the war-torn country that’s been savaged by Russian aggression. Marge and normal Americans don’t have much in common, which is evident from her rant.
“But this is the sellout of America today,” Three Toes told Raju. “When we had members of Congress in there waving the Ukrainian flag on the United States House of Representatives floor while we’re doing nothing to secure our border, I think every American in this country should be furious.”
“Who’s going to vote for these people?” she added. “How can you vote for these people? They don’t serve our country.”
The United States has always remained an ally to suppressed countries that are seeking freedom. As for the border, she should take that up with her hero, Donald Trump, who told Republicans to reject the bipartisan immigration bill, which gave them what they wanted. And she dislikes Ukrainian flags while never showing a distaste for Confederate flags. I’m starting to see a pattern here.
She’s not happy with House Speaker Mike Johnson at all. Johnson finally did the right thing, but lives might have been saved if the House had acted more swiftly. There is blood all over Marge’s apeish hands.
And Kari Lake, too, of course. I’m sure she’s fine with Trump flags, though:
Ukraine President Zelenskyy quickly thanked Congress and “personally Speaker Mike Johnson.” Oh boy, the Chaos Crew is going to lose it. Oh, well!
