Marge Blames 'Menopause' For Nikki Haley's Continued Candidacy

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) suggested Thursday that Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley won’t drop out of the race for her party’s presidential race because she’s going through menopause.

Greene made the remarks while campaigning for Donald Trump in South Carolina.

“You’ll have to forgive me, we’re going to talk about women things here for a minute,” Greene told supporters. “I got to talk about a woman who was your former governor, Nikki Haley, and right now, she’s still running for president.”

“Now, ladies, is it an identity crisis, is it a midlife crisis, is it perimenopause, is it menopause?” she asked. “Seriously, y’all know Nikki better than I know her, I don’t know her at all, but why is she still running for president?

“There’s something wrong here, and we’ve got to be honest about it.”

Greene said Haley should be able to read polls that show her trailing Trump.

“Yeah, so let’s talk about that a little bit,” the lawmaker opined. “Nikki Haley is funded by Democrats. Nikki Haley receives votes from Democrats. As a matter of fact, Democrats voted for her in Iowa.”

“I was there, I saw it,” she added. “They voted for her in New Hampshire. They voted for her in Nevada, and guess what, Democrats are voting for her here on Saturday.”

For her part, Haley has vowed to stay in the race after the South Carolina primary. In an interview with the Associated Press, the candidate pivoted to an attack on Trump when asked which state she would win.

Instead of asking me what states I’m gonna win, why don’t we ask how he’s gonna win a general election after spending a full year in a courtroom?” she snapped.
