Meet Rose Schlossberg: Jackie Kennedy’s Granddaughter and Modern Look-alike

LONDON — Jackie Kennedy has a modern look-alike and it’s none other than her granddaughter, Rose Kennedy Schlossberg. 

Born in June 1988, she is one of the three children of artist Edwin Schlossberg and Caroline Kennedy, former U.S. President John F. Kennedy’s only living daughter. Her siblings are Tatiana and John, otherwise known as Jack.

In 2010, Rose completed her bachelor’s degree in English Studies at Harvard University, where she got involved in filmmaking and acting. She proceeded to receive her postgraduate degree in Interactive telecommunications from New York University. 

She has produced various videos, including the web series “End Times Girls Club” and the docu-series “Time: The Kalief Browder Story” and the short film, “Small Gay Tragedy #1.”

Although she grew up away from the public eye, she is an advocate for voting and in 2020 she starred in Dover Street Market’s video campaign “Try Voting With Dover Street Market and When We All Vote.”

In the clip, she confesses why registering to vote made her “cool” and she was featured alongside fashion designer Marc Jacobs, photographer Cam Hicks, artist Kunle Martins and the cofounders of creative studio Maroon World, Cynthia Cervantes Gumbs and Travis Gumbs.

“If you are worried about being cool, don’t waste another minute, go online and register to vote today. We are making it as easy as possible for you to finally be cool,” she said in the video.

For Kennedy’s 100th birthday in 2017, Rose paid homage to her grandfather with the rest of her family by making an appearance in a video honouring him.

“I’m inspired by [his] sense of equality, his courage in naming the injustices in American society, and his call for action,” she said.
