Molly Ringwald’s Hairstyles Through the Years: From ‘The Breakfast Club’ Red Bob to Her Retro Updo in ‘Feud: Capote vs. The Swans’

Molly Ringwald‘s fiery red hair has evolved with her acting career. At 10 years old, she debuted on Broadway in the musical “Annie,” with her ginger hair being a signature style of her character. During her television debut in “Diff’rent Strokes,” Ringwald captivated the viewers with a bowl cut. Over the years, she has tried many different hair trends, including the shaggy, pixie and bob cut.

In FX’s series “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans,” which will premiere on Jan. 31, Ringwald returns to television with a brand new hairstyle. This time, she is channeling the 1960s with a retro updo.

Here, WWD takes a closer look at Ringwald’s hairstyle evolution through the years.
