Accounting and advisory firm PKF O’Connor Davies has elevated six of its employees to the role of partner.
Robert Cermeli, now a partner in the Financial Services Tax group, brings around three decades of expertise in tax compliance and planning for a diverse range of clients.
Based in the company’s New York City office, Cermeli delivers tax solutions for fund managers, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, as well as has experience in financial statement preparation and analysis.
Valerie Imondi, with close to 20 years of public accounting experience, has been promoted within the Business Solutions group.
Imondi offers accounting, tax preparation, and estate planning services, particularly for clients in manufacturing, commercial, farming sectors, and family-owned businesses.
She operates from the Newburgh, New York office.
Krista Karabel’s promotion to partner follows more than ten years in public accounting.
Since joining the firm in 2015, Karabel has specialised in auditing healthcare organisations and not-for-profit entities, including educational institutions and foundations.
She is operating out of the company’s Harrison, New York office.
Christina McLoughlin, now a partner in the Wealth Services division, has roughly 15 years of experience in public accounting and taxation.
McLoughlin provides strategic tax planning and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and their families.
She is also operating out of the Harrison office.
Andrew Musci, who has more than a decade of experience in public accounting and auditing, has been promoted within the Affordable Housing and Not-for-Profit groups.
His expertise includes working with a variety of not-for-profit and affordable housing entities, with a special focus on single audits and internal control/compliance audits.
Musci also contributes as the treasurer of a nonprofit affordable housing provider and is based in the Harrison office.
Rebecca Welnak, who has been in the tax planning and consulting space for approximately 20 years, too, has been named as partner.
She works with businesses in various industries, offering federal and state tax consulting and compliance support, especially for those with multistate operations.
Welnak is based in the company’s Woburn, Massachusetts office.
