Savannah Guthrie joined her new “Today” show cohost Craig Melvin for an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday in New York City. The daytime broadcaster welcomed Melvin as her new cohost following Hoda Kotb’s retirement.
Guthrie opted for a sleek look featuring a cardigan courtesy of Zadig & Voltaire. The piece included a recurring star motif that featured in the fashion label’s spring 2023 collection. The cardigan features crystal embellished star-shaped buttons, lending a youthful playfulness to the garment.

The sleek black silhouette features three-quarter-length sleeves and a ribbed trim for a textured finish. Guthrie opted to continue her black color palette by wearing a pair of skin-tight leather leggings. She also wore black leather lace-up boots with a chunky heel.
Though Guthrie opted for minimal pieces of jewelry, save for a few dainty rings and a bracelet, she accessorized her attire with a black headband with gem detailing. Her glam featured her auburn hair in soft, cascading waves and her makeup included bold brows and a red lip for an added touch of color.

Melvin opted to suit up for his appearance alongside his new “Today” show cohost. He wore a dark plum suit with tailored pants, coordinated blazer and a cream knit sweater beneath. Melvin added a pocket square and gray socks with a hint of a playful print to complete the look.
Melvin has been a “Today” anchor since 2018. Following Hoda Kotb’s final episode on Jan. 10, the broadcaster was announced as the new co-anchor for the daytime talk show, working alongside Guthrie in 2025 and beyond.

During her final episode of “Today,” Kotb revealed she wore sentimental pieces of jewelry gifted to her by Guthrie — a bracelet that says “With You” and a ring that says “Love.”
