On Saturday night, 31 women made their society debut at the Plaza Hotel during the 70th annual International Debutante Ball.
The traditional white-tie dinner and dance, held Dec. 28, remains one of the most prestigious stages for the young scions of worldwide cultural and political leaders. Notable attendees since the first ball was held in 1954 include several daughters and granddaughters of U.S. presidents, including Patricia Nixon, Julie Nixon Eisenhower, and Ashley Walker Bush, as well as Cornelia Guest and numerous princesses.
This year’s debutantes included women from Europe, Asia, and the U.S. They included Helena Grace Steuch, Comtesse Gisèle d’Andigné, Comtesse Elénore de Tocqueville, Comtesse Marguerite de Tocqueville, Comtesse Sixtine Marraud des Grottes, Samara Kothari, Isabella Kelani Grossman, Alix Drummond of Megginch, Sorah Chung, Tiffany Alexandra Fagerberg, Abigail Elizabeth Davis, Sarah Angela Pence, Alice Post Lindh Peterson, Grace Corbett Corcoran, Anna Emilia Roth, Ciara Wilson Carroll, Fiona Grace Carroll, Cameron Lena Meijer, Mary Elizabeth Foster, Kelli Chambers Ford, Jane Margaret Reyes, Caitlyn Marie Rodeo, Emma Helen Sobel, Lea Paige Wilson, Annah Stanton Brown, Lella Sue McClane Brown, Andi Nicole Feik, Randall McLaurin Holstead, Elizabeth Kirby McCool II, Margaret Karleen Sattler and Mariah Stanton Sattler.
